Where do you practice?
I have two practice locations.
My Surbiton practice is in the centre of Surbiton, two minutes walk from Surbiton Station serving clients in Kingston, Esher, Thames Ditton, Tolworth and surrounding areas.
The practice has a bus stop directly outside and parking facilities nearby.
My Twickenham practice is in the heart of St Margarets, a couple of minutes walk from St Margarets station serving clients in Twickenham, Richmond, Isleworth, Teddington and other surrounding areas.
I also provide online counselling for clients across the United Kingdom.
Who do you help?
I work with individual adults and couples, aged 18+.
What do you charge?
My fees are:
Individual: £60
Couple: £85
What type of therapy do you offer?
My initial training was is Transactional Analysis and I view my way of working as being humanistic and integrative, i.e. I like to use/ adapt and bring concepts and theories in a way that is beneficial to my clients.
I view the therapeutic relationship as key, this being a relationship that is built on trust and compassion where the client(s) feels safe, in the knowledge they will not be judged, therefore providing and helping them to realise an environment where they can have the opportunity to express and experience all of their thoughts, feelings or behaviours.
I consider my style to be both supportive and challenging and will often provide interventions that may lead to exploration of new or different perspectives.
How many sessions do you recommend?
I recommend we have an initial introductory session to enable us both to see if we would like the opportunity to work together.
We will then both work together to understand and realise your therapy goals within our agreed contract, with the aim being to review these around your sixth session and agree on how we would like to proceed.
Do I have to sign anything?
I have a counselling agreement that we will both sign.
Cancellations and missed appointments
I charge a full fee for absences, cancellations, and missed appointments where I am given less than 48 hours’ notice.
How do I pay?
I request payment before or prior to session commencement by either Bank transfer or cash.
